Visit The Village On Stilt; Nzulezu In GhanadivNzulezu is a community on the lake Amansuri, which is in the Western Region of Ghana. Nzulezu is a small community with about four hundred and fifty men, women and children. They have lived on the stilt for about five hundred years, this community is manned by a king and a few elders selected. On the first day, I reached the land of Beyin on which the Lake is located. We first went to the reception where we made payments and we were offered tickets. Our tour guide was also introduced to us and we were given our life jackets. We then proceeded to the dock, where we were to aboard a canoe which will be take us to the village itself. Getting on the canoe was not easy since it was my first time of boarding a canoe. It was a bit shaky but all the same, we were able to get on it. On the canoe we were four persons and we were made to sit in the middle in order to balance the canoe and to avoid capsizing. It took us barely an hour to get to the village. As we were going, <a href="http://www.schwesercfa.com/" target="_blank" class="postlink">cfa study notes> the more far we went the deeper the water became and if you looked at the water, it looked dark but when you fetch some with your hand it becomes colorless. The tour guide also did a wonderful job by telling us his knowledge and also answering the curious questions we posed to him. When we reached the village, the paddler sailed the canoe to a tight corner for us to off board. We then climbed onto the raffia walkway. It was a long hallway with the houses on both sides. We saw the church of Pentecost and the Catholic Church. Also was a school which was class 6 and if children wanted to continue education they moved to a public school in Beyin of which they will have to transpose by canoe every day. We walked through while the indigenes carried on with their normal chores and their children approached us with heartwarming smiles. We went into one of the rooms and made some customary rites before the chief came to tell us the history of the place, <a href="http://www.schwesercfa.com/" target="_blank" class="postlink">cfa preparation> where they emanated from and what their challenges were. We asked questions after he finished with the history and went out to purchase some souvenirs and also to take critical look at the environment. It was an interesting and fascinating experience. I learnt to appreciate God, <a href="http://www.schwesercfa.com/" target="_blank" class="postlink">cfa study notes> other humans and thought of what I could do something personally to support this people. A lot needs to be done for them so that they can also groom their children to become active citizens who can go back and aid in the development of their home town. For the rates, foreigners were paying not less than ten Dollars and Ghanaians were paying not less than six Dollars. I wish you could visit them someday and when you are going don’t forget to carry along with some used clothes, <a href="http://www.schwesercfa.com/schweser-cfa-level-2-study-notes-2014-free-shipping-p-4.html" target="_blank" class="postlink">kaplan cfa level 2> books and other amenities that can help them improve on their living standard and create positive change in their lives. We thank God for our lives and I say a big thank you for sharing your time with me. Have a good one and have a Positive Mental Attitude in all that you do.
